Powder Land

In a land of snow and enchanted forests the sound of silence rises from the dampened white landscape. Where steaming onsens fill the air with moisture’s fog and the abundance of fresh spring waters flow under the island. A magical place called Hokkaido where the snowboarding is pretty too.

  1. I love this photograph! Reminds me of scenes from the recent ITV documentary on Japan with Joanna Lumley, where she started are pan-Japanese trip in snowy Hokkaido.
Japan is my number 0ne fantasy destination. I would love to visit that enchanting incredible land. I’ve been fascinated with medieval Japanese culture from young adulthood. Any chance I get to watch documentaries or read articles on Japan I take. My favourite beers are Japanese – Kirin, Sapporo and Asahi and my favourite cuisine is Japanese.
I hope one day I can afford to travel in the land of my imagination.

  2. You too such stunning photos,I can’t get over some of them like the golden sky scenery…can you believe how beautiful God made this world??i would have loved to see niseko, Japan with my own eyes..it’s simply beautiful

    • Hi there! We went mid January to mid Feb. Plenty of places to stay in Niseko and there’s a bus but it’s really nice to have a car as well. Renting one is pretty easy. If you stay right in Niseko you don’t need a car and can get shuttles to the other resorts but it’s nice to be able to drive to others further away…and of course to go hiking/skinning in the backcountry.

  7. Indeed an excellent piece of work! The feel was to let your eyes prevent from blinking while going through the presentation. The captured photographs silently speaks, without uttering a single word, “Beautiful”!
    Keep up the good work๐Ÿ™‚
