These make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

• I traveled up to British Columbia with a group of ripping skiers (some part of the SheJumps crew) to take part in an all women Alpine Finishing course to further our ski mountaineering skills. We were shuttled via helicopter to the lodge nestled in the Selkirk mountains. The lodge is named after the mountains and owned and run two sisters and one daughter. Needless to say this trip was a whole lot o women and a whole lot of fun. Here are some of my favorite shots from the trip….I will follow up with full slideshow and stories!

Here’s a shot from Kauai that was taken with my 5d mark ll.  It’s amazing how shitty color can look and yet within the file there’s information that exists but it just needs to be adjusted.  There’s so much light bouncing around outside and sometimes you can only do your best with a neutral exposure and then make it look awesome in post.  I don’t do heavy retouching but I do focus a lot on color, contrast and of course lighting.

Goodbye summer…hello winter!

Went up to Portland in June this year to meet with some agencies and had fun along the way!
